Lynette's Quilt

This is my baby sister

she is all grown up now
with a family of her own

This is Lynette with her AWESOME FAMILY

Lynette is NINE years younger than me...
When I left home for college she was only

She was only Eleven when I got married

I will always think of Lynette as my BABY SISTER
even now when she is all grown up and
has SIX children of her own

I wanted to make something special for Lynette

So I made her this Quilt out
of material from clothes
she wore when she was a little girl!!

Here are some photos of her
in some of the outfits that
are now in the QUILT!

Oh thank you for linking your beautiful quilt how sweet and thoughtful a gift. I love projects that upcycle too. However you linked it to the ongoing free give away linky at bacon time, on the left is the party linky that runs weekly Friday nights through Monday nights. I will have to delete it since it is not a give away but would love for you to re link it if you have the time to the party on the left. Thanks again for coming and I hope to see you and some of your wonderful ideas again soon.

Oh wow, now I wish that my mom would not have gotten rid of my baby sister's old clothes. I know how you feel, she is 15 years younger then me, I will always think of her as a baby!
